My Hot Chelle Rae/Action Item Concert Experience
5.2.2012 - Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK.
Before the doors opened:
Me, Bri, and Kelsey got to Cain’s Ballroom at around 3, waited in line for 3 hours. It wasn’t scorching hot, but it was pretty hot outside.
An hour before doors opened, we met Pete, Brandon, and Andrew from Rocky Loves Emily. They persuaded us into buying their CD (which I’m glad they did! It’s amazing, by the way.) and we pretty much just hung out with them. 4/5 of Action Item came out to talk to fans for a few before heading back inside the venue.
FINALLY in the building/The Show:
We got front row, of course! Woop woop!
Electric Touch was first. I don’t know their setlist, but I do know one thing…they were better than what I thought they would be! They were very…electric…on stage! They have some pretty good music…and a lot of energy! This one guy had zebra printed shoes…and I WANT THEM! Haha. Rate: 8/10
Action Item (<3) was next to take the stage! LOVE those Jersey boys! They blew me away, as always! So full of energy! Brian & I made eye contact at least once (happy girl over here) and David & I made eye contact at least once per song (happy girl over here, once again)! I wish I could see these boys live at least once a month! Haha. That’s how good they are! After their set, I grabbed Mark’s setlist, but gave it to the girl behind me. However, I managed to snag Brian’s stomped on setlist! I was NOT giving up the setlist this time! Haha. Rate: 20/10 (Yeah…I cheated on the rating scale!)
A.I.’s setlist:

Hot Chelle Rae finally took the stage! These guys really blew me away! They put on an AMAZiNG show! Let me tell you, they’re pretty good looking guys…especially RK. In my opinion, they sound better live than they do on audio! I definitely want to see these guys perform again! Rate: 10/10

After The Show:
After 10 months, I finally reunited with Action Item! It was amazing to see them again! Got pics with all the A.I. boys. Got one with David first, then Brian, then Anthony, then Mark, and then Dan. Once I got my pics with them, it was off to the Hot Chelle Rae meet & greet line (you had to buy HCR merch in order to meet them after the show)! Waited in the HCR line for about 15 minutes, then it was my turn to meet Hot Chelle Rae/get their autograph! That was pretty darn cool! After getting HCR’s autographs, I went back outside and chilled with the Rocky Loves Emily dudes. Once Kelsey and Bri came outside, we hung out with RLE and they wanted to go to Denny’s with us, so we got to have dinner with Rocky Loves Emily! I was stoked to finally have a legit dinner with a band! I can now cross that (along with getting a setlist) off my concert bucket list! ; )
This concert/night was beyond perfect! May I go back? =)
